The lawyer who represented God
The 5 member bench of Supreme Court gave the historic verdict on Ram janmabhoomi today
Ram Lalla (Infant Lalla) was given possession of the land of his birth after 500 years
So who defended the side of Ram Lalla in the case ?
It was Veteran Advocate Parasaran and his law team
We owe his victory to this team of brilliant lawyers who fought the case with so much devotion acumen and dedication
Parasaran is 93, but he spent more than 12 hours every day for last 8 months to defend the case
Every day he used to attend the hearing from 10-30 am to 5 pm which went on for 40 days in one of the fiercest legal battle fought in Indian law history
He says his spiritual relation with Bhagvan Ram kept him going
Parasaran was assisted by lawyers PV Yogeshwaran, Anirudh Sharma, Sridhar Pottaraju, Aditi Dani, Ashwin Kumar DS and Bhakti Vardhan Singh.
The team says we all were inspired to see Parasaran's energy at his age — he has elephantine memory, had all important cases at his fingertips and research was as simple as Parasaran recalling a leaf out of his long book as an advocate
He was former Indian advocate general and Padma bhushan awardee
Everyone says Parasaran never got anxious or lost control in the entire case. He was always cool mature and in control.
The Muslim side was represented by Lawyer Rajeev Dhawan who is also a legend in legal circles.
Last day of the heating,he waited for Dhavan after the court and took a picture with him.
His message was simple but loud — lawyers may fight inside the courtroom, but the country should know they aren't fighting otherwise.
Ram Bhakt can show such magnanimous attitude.
Today when India is celebrating unanimous Ram mandir judgement in Ayodhya, we should not forget Parasaran Sir and we owe this victory for his legal acumen
