Foot note : FINNIFTY today touched 19780 levels :) All time high ( June month end expiry - all the game in the last day in second half : big players move the cheese :) - Month end June 30th quarter end so possible that Mutual Funds may try to get their valuations higher so push the market up up up :)
FINNIFTY is the symbol for Nifty Financial Services Index in the stock market. It is an index that includes the stock values of various companies that are part of the Indian financial sector.
Currently FINNIFTY is at levels of 19400.
19400 call option and put option expiry june 27th (about 12 trading days with 3 expiries- FINNIFTY expires every tuesday) puttogether is quoting around 400 points.
Lot size is 40. The sell of CE and PE put together attracts a margin of about 1L.
The probability of profit % is about 50%. With max profit of 16k.( 400*40). Assuming we hold for a week and exit we should be in position to make profit of about 4k.
( For 1L one week holding 4k is about 4% decent amount).
